    CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

    WHO WE ARE:

    Founded by a dream team of world-class cosmetic scientists, MIT engineers, and developers, Function of Beauty creates personalized shampoo and conditioner formulations that are individually filled and formulated based on one's unique hair type, hair goals, and preferences. 

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    In this role, the CSR is the main point of contact with our Customers and their first impression with Function of Beauty's exceptional service. By facilitating all Customer interactions, the CSRs will provide the highest level of service to our customers around the world.

    WHAT YOU NEED:

    • Upon completion of training, must have knowledge of Function of Beauty products, website, and order workflow to be able to provide guidance to Customers
    • Be a champion for the Function of Beauty brand around the world – serving as the first point of contact for Customers and maintaining on-brand responses, attitude and professionalism at all times
    • Upon completion of training, you must know all Function of Beauty policies and guidelines. Must articulate this information to Customers as needed via phone, chat, social media, and email. Must demonstrate consistency throughout responses using the company's tone and voice to foster Customer loyalty 
    • Respond to Customers through multi-level platforms including email, phone, text, chat, and social channels in order to support and rapidly resolve issues, exceed expectations, and deliver outstanding customer experiences
    • Use technical skills to navigate multiple systems and platforms to quickly resolve customer inquiries 
    • Think creatively and passionately in order to provide world-class experiences for our Customers
    • Collaborate and share Customer insights and feedback to all areas of the business including operations, brand, product, development, growth, and r&d
    • Must be motivated and self-reliant to effectively manage time and productivity to meet business needs in an open work environment
    • Flexibility as duties/responsibilities within the Customer Service Department can change daily
    • Ability to follow the escalation process to management for quick Customer resolution  
    • Embody Function of Beauty's value to achieve (pear)fection by being an outstanding employee and co-worker

    EMPLOYMENT CATEGORY: 

    • Hourly, Full Time
    • M-F 8a-4:30p
    • Temporarily a work from home position, but will be moving back on site shortly
