Functional Chief for Work and Family Life Program
Job Description
International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for qualified individuals to provide oversight to The Navy Fleet and Family Support Program’s (FFSP) Work and Family Life (WFL) program. The FFSP serves active duty members of the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force plus their eligible family members; active duty members of foreign military services who are stationed in the area; reserve military personnel and their family members when they are eligible for military medical care, military members designated as severely wounded, ill and injured and their identified caretakers and, on a space available basis, military retirees and their family members and widows, eligible family members of military decedents and other groups as directed and authorized by higher authorities in response to special circumstances.
This person shall have oversight of provided Work and Family Life support programs and services that directly support deployment and mission readiness by preparing service and family members to anticipate, understand and cope with the demands associated with the Navy lifestyle and operating tempo. This Functional Chief will work with Service leadership in planning a mix of programs tailored to the needs of the Service and which target different audiences to include single, married, parents and children, wartime and peacetime. This position will also direct service productivity standards, ensure all information and referral, one-on-one, and group education services provided by Work and Family Life Programs staff are properly executed and ensure that staff delivering Work and Family Life Programs are accounting for all services delivered.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
