    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence studies, Political Science, National Security, or related field.

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience of policy development or oversight related to MASINT, SIGINT, or GEOINT. or
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience policy development or oversight of electronic warfare or cyberspace operations.
    • Ability to prepare concise and informative briefings, talking points, and recommended positions for meetings with leadership.
    • Experience in developing and coordinating staff packages that include time-sensitive requirements to enable functional intelligence support.
    • Proficiency in producing and disseminating reports and briefings that detail functional intelligence activities and investments for Congress and Senior Executive Branch officials.
    • Ability to analyze complex data and information to draw meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
    • Effective written and oral communication skills to convey complex information to various audiences.
    • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports and briefings.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and leadership.
    • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

    Responsibilities:


    SANCORP is seeking a Functional Intelligence and Defense Analysis Staff Officer II I to provide administrative, policy, operational, and analytic, support to the Functional Intelligence and Defense Analysis Directorate Office within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)). The following are examples of responsibilities:

    • Assist leadership in the conduct of oversight and governance, to include staff assistance visits and compliance inspections, for functional intelligence support (SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, OSINT).
    • Prepare briefings, talking points and recommended positions for meetings.
    • Develop and coordinate staff packages that include time-sensitive requirements for leadership to enable functional intelligence support (SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, OSINT).
    • Produce and disseminate reports and briefings that detail functional intelligence support (SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, OSINT) activities and investments for Congress and Senior Executive Branch officials.
