    Description

    A well-capitalized, fast-growing investment firm is seeking a sharp Fund Accountant to join its high-impact finance team. This is a rare opportunity to move from Big 4 into the private investment space, taking real ownership across fund accounting, reporting, and investor operations—while working directly with senior leadership and top-tier institutional investors.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and review quarterly and annual fund financial statements, capital account statements, and investor reports.

    • Manage capital calls, distributions, and portfolio valuations.

    • Coordinate with external auditors and fund administrators to ensure smooth and accurate reporting.

    • Drive process and systems improvements across accounting and reporting functions.

    Qualifications

    • 2–4 years of Big 4 or top-tier public accounting experience with funds.

    • Strong grasp of GAAP and investment/fund accounting principles.

    • CPA is a plus.

    • Advanced Excel skills.

    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
