STAFF FRONTEND ENGINEER  LOCATION:

HQ based in San Francisco, CA but operates as a fully remote organization!

ABOUT THE ROLE: To continue the accelerated growth at Nuffsaid, they need to hire a world-class Staff Frontend Engineer to make the platform intuitive and beautiful. You'll help them get there by owning end-to-end projects, working closely with all team members from across all departments, and ultimately supporting the growth of Nuffsaid (both the product and the business).

As the Staff Frontend Engineer, you'll be focused on building beautiful and performant user interfaces—someone who cares as much about the elegance of the interfaces you create as the elegance of the code used to create them. Nuffsaid focuses on stunning design, great UX, and good engineering practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Design, prototype and deliver high quality customer-facing features on the platform
• Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to create a delightful user experience
• Translate product vision into concrete and pragmatic technical roadmap
• Work closely with Backend Engineers to design APIs
• Own the quality of user interfaces across multiple browsers and resolutions
• Solve interesting and real problems with code
• Drive engineering projects to completion with a sense of urgency
• Diagnose and resolve inefficiencies in the engineering process
• Ensure high quality of the product through code reviews, testing, fixing bugs, etc.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of dedicated experience working on frontend and building products that users love
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering
• Experience with React.JS and TypeScript
• Experience in fundamental front end web technologies including pixel perfect HTML and CSS
• Experience building highly scalable, high performance, responsive web applications
• Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts
• Bonus points if you are knowledgeable about tools for managing packages (i.e Learna, Webpack)
• Bonus points if you have experience working with UI for data heavy products
• Bonus points if you're a former Designer
