    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We're looking for a talented & motivated FINANCE ANALYST to join our growing Finance team!

    Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is a critical and highly visible role within the company. You will be responsible for supporting planning and analyzing the company's financials to ensure accurate recording and enable educated decision-making, budget control, and ongoing monitoring. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide financial insights into key decisions based on Fundraise Up's financial analysis and performance.

    The ideal candidate has keen analytical skills, strong financial and presentation acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and prioritize multiple deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    • Support our Finance Department in all FP&A, Accounting, Financial Operations, and other Finance related needs
    • Generate budget vs. actuals analysis, investigate and explain key variances
    • Monthly & Quarterly upkeep of Budget Model
    • Help provide insights and recommendations to a high-growth Series A stage start-up related to exciting topics such as strategic targeting, start-up development, and venture capital funding.
    • Assists key month-end close activities and supports accountants to provide oversight of completeness and accuracy
    • Support presentation prep to the leadership team on a quarterly and monthly basis
    • Provide support for the annual planning and financial forecasting processes
    • Ensure that detailed accounting documentation is compiled and maintained in support of relevant legal and audit requirements
    • Provide ongoing financial support and decision-making analysis for different teams, projects, customer transactions, and other initiatives
    • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-3 years of Finance Experience
    • Advanced G-suite / Excel knowledge
    • Experience with Tableau or another similar financial data warehouse
    • Prior experience in a high-tech industry/start-up company
    • An interest in the non-profit sector
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant fields
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
    • Financial skills including P&L analysis, financial planning, and financial modeling
    • Self-motivated person who can work independently

    BONUS POINTS:

    • Experience working with / selling to non-profit organizations.
    • Experience working for sales in SaaS/tech-based companies.
    • Salesforce.com and Outreach.io experience is a plus.
    • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual.
    • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited University is strongly preferred.
