About the Role:

Furniture Mart is looking for a hardworking and dependable Furniture Stockroom Associate to join our team in New Orleans, LA! This is a great opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic retail environment where your efforts directly impact the customer experience. Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and organize incoming furniture shipments and inventory

Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly stockroom and showroom area

Pull and stage furniture orders for customer pickup and floor display

Assist with loading and unloading merchandise for customers and delivery teams

Assist on the sales floor as needed

Assemble furniture pieces as needed for floor displays or customer orders

Collaborate with sales and floor staff to ensure product availability and replenishment

Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75+ lbs) regularly

Prior experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or retail environment preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude

Basic furniture assembly skills or willingness to learn

High school diploma or GED preferred
