ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Fuse might be the place for you! Fuse Integration is looking for a Graphic Designer-UI/UX who can design usable and user-friendly software interfaces, create engineering presentations and marketing materials, and support our product design workshops. Fuse products and UIs enable the management, monitoring, and configuration of complex network communications systems. The warfighter is at the heart of everything we do, and we create seamless experiences to enhance their mission. Candidates must have experience or education and interest in UI/UX efforts and design workshops focused on the end-user. Fuse develops complex hardware and software systems, and the ability to convey these products and concepts of operations in print and digital media is key to successfully engaging customers design teams and pleasing users. This position will be part of an interactive, focused development team and is expected to contribute visually striking and user-focused solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work with Project Managers, Product Managers, and software teams to meet software design needs in an agile development environment
• Create, maintain, document, and review user interface components and maintain visual consistency
• Research, investigate, and explore design-related aspects/options of features as necessary
• Test usability and functionality of concepts and developed components whenever possible
• Work with leadership, Project Managers, production, and engineering teams to meet general visual communications needs
• Create, edit, and review posters, presentation visuals, visual compositions of company products and operational concepts, diagrams, signs, company templates, etc.
• Quality check and strive to improve anything you touch (proofreading, visual adjustments, etc.)
• Promote accessibility and best design practices (design thinking, user-focused design, etc.)
• Promote and maintain visual consistency across different requests

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• BA in Graphic Design, UI Design, UX Design, similar visual communication degree, or similar field experience
• 1-2 years of experience designing UI/UX
• 3+ years of experience in graphic design
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with vector art, infographics, or data visualization
• Experience designing in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to clearly communicate technical content and design concepts via engaging visuals
• Must be U.S. Citizen
