    Job Description

    Seeking an administrative assistant to join a rapidly growing public adjuster company located in Dallas, Texas. Ideal candidate will need to be organized and detail-oriented. This position will entail assisting management and claims adjusters with administrative support functions. Pleasant phone skills and attention to detail is necessary. We seek those who work well in a team setting, as well as maintain productivity independently. 

    This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates that wish to gain valuable experience. 

     

    The position is Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day with an hour for lunch. This position is on-site.

     

     

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Receive and index incoming mail
    • Answer department calls
    • Perform data entry
    • Filing paperwork
    • Provide clerical assistance to team and manager, i.e. – copying, data entry, filing, new claim set up
    • Maintain database
    • Assist with other miscellaneous tasks as needed

     

    Physical setting:

    • Office

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday

    Ability to commute/relocate:

    • Candidate will need to be able to commute daily to office located in Dallas, Texas.

    Education:

    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    Experience:

    • Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)
    • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
    • Overall admin assistant: 2 years (Preferred)

     

    Salary:

     $31,200 ($15/hr). Plus benefits
