EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN'S ONLY!!!

Futronix Systems, a leader in low voltage audio/video and security integration, is seeking an experienced Security Installer/Technician to help serve our residential and commercial customers in the Ventura / Los Angeles Counties, CA market. Our business is growing rapidly, and we have an immediate need for an experienced Technician. This position would cover from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara County.

Company Vehicle is provided so clean record is required!

Technician Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in the low voltage/security industry.

Ability to work without direct supervision.

Basic knowledge of network design and IP Communications.

Working knowledge of system layout and commissioning of a new system.

Ability to interact with designers, architects and other industry professionals.

Ability to read construction drawings / blue prints.

Excellent communication skills (all formats) which includes establishing positive relationships with customers.

Professional appearance.

Valid CA driver’s license and a good driving record.

High School Diploma or higher.

Ability to pass a background check.

Ability to lift over 50 pounds independently.

Reliable transportation.

Possess your own basic hand tools.

Security Technician:

Knowledge of structured wiring of new and retrofit environments.

Installation and Programming of Wired/Wireless Alarm Systems

Knowledge of Relay principles

Installation and programming of IP security camera systems

Installation and programming of Card Access Systems

Wired / Wireless Data Networks Installation, Configuration, Servicing.

Ability to troubleshoot and work under pressure

Residential and Commercial experience

Audio / Video Experience a PLUS! but not required.
