Future Classic is looking for a casual Junior Designer to join the team in LA. The role is to assist with production of graphic assets for Future Classic and it's artist projects. You will be working closely with our In house Designer/Creative Producer as well as our various Project Managers

Job structure: 5 – 10 hrs per week paid at an hourly rate*
Ideal availability: 1-2 hrs per day. (Potentially more on Thursdays/ Fridays
and less on other days) Some a.m. availability, as this is when our Sydney office is offline.

• We are open to discuss this arrangement and how it could be moulded to fit our mutual needs and schedules

Key responsibilities:
● Attends weekly creative content meeting (L.A Monday 3pm)
● To compose, edit and export print ready and digital files for a wide variety of Future Classic and artist project needs, including; posters, banners, social media campaigns, and album artwork.

Essential Skills & Attributes

● Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, IndDesign and Photoshop
● Basic knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects (+ Media Encoder)
● Intimate understanding of typographic and graphic design principles
● Capable in pre-press and print production
● Up to date working knowledge of digital production specs
● Ability to work within a prescribed Style Guide
● Ability to work collaboratively:
— Attention to detail regarding file naming and comfort with a cloud based workflow.
— Highly communicative. I.e. Able to ask clarifying questions and communicate regarding availability and deadlines.
— Ability to work on existing files and efficiently hand over files to be picked up byanother designer.

Qualifications

● Bachelor degree or equivalent in Visual Communications or related field
● Experience working in at least one Graphic Design role
