    Future Foods: Regional Sales Manager

    Location: FLORIDA, SOUTHEAST, NORTHEAST, TEXAS & CALIFORNIA

    The Regional Sales Manager ensures achievement of regional sales goals and profit objectives through effective management of brokers and customers throughout the US.

    Reports: VP of Sales & Marketing

    Regional Sales Manager functions include, but not limited to:

    • Direct contact with GPO(Group Purchasing Organization)

    • Partner with brokers to identify and implement ways to maintain and grow our business

    • Grow sales substantially by seeking new business opportunities, using industry knowledge and network of contacts

    • Identifies and approaches key or strategic retail prospects and sets short- and long-term sales strategies

    • Develop focused, thoughtful sales plans and targets in partnership with broker leadership

    • Forge relationships with brokers and customers

    • Manage a geographic region and a network of food-service brokers and call on key operators including regional chains.

    • Work cross-functionally to gain support for programs and promotional activity in your region

    • Develop a detailed understanding of our products and business, represent Impossible Foods to customers and train distributors’ sales teams and brokers

    • Create customer pipeline and develop targets through research and relationship development and motivate brokers and distributors to achieve sales targets

    • Represent Future Foods at food shows, distributor events, and at other industry events

    • Experience working with commercial and non-commercial operators and negotiating distributor agreements

    • Knowledge working with key food-service distributors and effectively managing trade dollars

    • Ability and understanding how to demonstrate products to potential clients

    Requirements:

    • Full cycle sales experience – you must be both a "hunter" and a "closer"
    • Experience managing brokers and building strategic market sales plans
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and remotely and drive projects to completion with minimal direction
    • Ability to demonstrate Oumph! product and its different applications
    • Experience with CRM and trade funds management systems
    • A passion for the food-service industry and Future Foods’ mission

    Working Environment:

    • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, stand, walk, and turn/pivot walking on uneven and concrete floors throughout the duration of the workday.
    • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
    • Variable temperatures and humidity

    Education/Certifications Required:

    • BA/BS degree in a related field
    • 5 years of experience in food-service sales
    • 2 years of supervisory experience
    • CPG experience required
