As a Technical Product Manager at Future Technologies, you will have an exciting opportunity to build systematic approaches that can be applied across multiple customers and product offerings. You will participate in shaping the products, services offering, go-to-market approaches, and capabilities that help our customers succeed.. The ideal Technical Product Manager will have experience defining and delivering solutions for enterprise customers and have the technical depth and breadth to work closely with the Sales, Engineering, and Professional Services delivery teams. The Technical Product Manager will lead the New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) process to create captivating solutions. In this role, the Technical Product Manager will design, plan, develop, and manage the commercialization of product offerings throughout the lifecycle of new product definition, with a focus on successfully taking the offering to market.
The Technical Product Manager will have experience in defining and building new products, features and services will be important because the role will work closely sales and business development teams, engineers, and marketing teams to launch new capabilities and translate the voice of the customer. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure critical deliverables are achieved.
· Develop and manage product road map.
· Guides key stakeholders on the capability roadmap to align with portfolio strategy and may offer support across phases of the portfolio lifecycle (e.g., planning, development, launch, management, exit).
· Get buy-in and define requirements from various cross-functional teams for NPI/NPD initiatives.
· Create detailed business and technical requirements for new features and product functionalities through partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
· Partner with engineering team in developing, testing, and releasing new features.
· Independently drive product/solution release readiness.
· Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues and gaps that may impair the product’s ability to accelerate customers’ journey.
· Record and document the functionalities and requirements of the product.
· Periodically present progress to executive leadership.
· Synthesizes market requirements into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business acumen.
· Acts as a primary liaison between stakeholders and teams Advisory role in support of process documentation & optimization
· Extensive team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.
· Technical understanding and knowledge of the wireless industry and Industry 4.0 and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team
EDUCATION AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
· 3+ (or 5+) years of Product Management experience with proven track record of building and releasing new services and/or features.
· Experience communicating and working with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders, across multiple business units
· Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
· Experience with or interest in Wireless - private/public cellular, Microwave, Fixed Wireless Access, In Building Wireless, LoRa, Wi-Fi and Use Case solutions for Industry 4.0 such as Computer Vision, Asset Health, Remote Worker, IoT Sensors, Pots Line Replacement, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), intelligent video analytics, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Robotics.
· Experience with production release cycles and product planning and requirements gathering
· Ability to multitask and manage portfolio of cross-functional projects within the program - work prioritization, planning, collaboration, and management.
· Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
LOCATION PREFERENCE:
· Atlanta, GA – HQ and Innovation Center Location
· Remote – considered on case by case basis
COMPENSATION:
· Salary – Negotiable
