    Future of Sports Ambassador -Looking for high-energy charismatic team members to represent the Future of Sports brand with integrity and enthusiasm. The Ambassador is an integral part of Future of Sport's Visitor Experience Team, who welcomes and assists our guests. As such, they become "The Face of the Museum" and are expected to be knowledgeable and gracious to our diverse audience base. Bonus: you can play all the sports you want! Application & Timing: -Start October 15th and must be available for at least 3-6 months. Responsibilities: - Represent the Future of Sports brand with integrity and enthusiasm. - Responsible to engage and entertain visitors. Ultimately offer a positive experience. - Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and independently - Upbeat, energetic, positive personality!! - Engage and entertain, be photographed and social -Create a warm and welcoming presence for the exhibit members and visitors -Proactively engage with visitors and forge connections between them and the exhibit -Communicate FOS exhibit policies and provide general information about the exhibit -Coordinate with other exhibit staff to provide the best service experience to all members and visitors Qualifications: - A passion for making people smile and a strong voice - Ability to work as part of a team - High energy, self-managing, and self-starter personality - Adept at managing multiple tasks - Strong desire to work as part of a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast- paced, out-of-the-box environment -Must enjoy customer service work and possess the ability to be professional and courteous in stressful situations -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize -Strong attention to detail -Ability to follow direction and ability to enforce exhibit policies and procedures while maintaining superior customer service -Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment -Must be a good "Team Player" and collaborate well with colleagues to accomplish Departmental goals - Must have a genuine love of SPORTS - Must be 18 or over. Physical Demands: -Basic Requirements: -Lifting supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs. required -Extended periods of standing required -Ability to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays -Must have a minimum of one year of related experience in a ticketing, admissions, or retail environment -Experience with POS systems Knowledge and Education: -Strong computer skills required -1-2 years of retail experience, preferably with a fashion or luxury brand experience and a College Degree preferred -Fluency in multiple languages preferred -Sports background preferred
