Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, analytical, and detail-oriented Futures Client Services Specialist to join our trade support team for the essential evening market sessions. In this role, you will serve as a frontline technical and operational resource for our global client base. You will handle everything from platform troubleshooting and order routing to critical real-time risk management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Assist customers efficiently and professionally via phone, email, and live chat to resolve complex account and trading issues.
Risk Management: Execute real-time risk management procedures for futures and options trading, including monitoring margin requirements.
Order Execution: Accurately handle and execute order routing requests on behalf of retail and institutional clients.
Technical Support: Guide clients through our proprietary trading technology, troubleshoot software connectivity issues, and assist with integrations to third-party platforms.
Back-Office Support: Assist with the firm’s clearing and back-office operations as needed to ensure smooth trade settlement and reconciliation.
Adaptability: Perform other duties and special operational projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of client service experience in the futures trading industry, with experience on a trading desk.
Industry Knowledge: Deep, practical knowledge of the futures and options industry, including market mechanics and contract specifications.
Risk Expertise: Prior experience managing risk, understanding SPAN margining, or handling margin calls.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, composed attitude.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or commensurate experience will be considered.
Licensing: Series 3 registration is preferred or a willingness to obtain it shortly after hire.
