Engineer/Shop Tech – Elk City

DEPARTMENT: Engineering

G.A.S is looking to hire a hard working innovative mind that is ready to be challenged. Candidates include, but are not limited to: engineers, shop / service technician. *Must be able to pass a background check. G.A.S will not hire criminal felons.

Job Functions:

Applicant will be handling fleet operations. This includes weekly equipment checklists, fleet maintenance, DOT compliance, truck builds and more. Applicants must be proficient in computer software including Microsoft excel, have great attention to detail, highly motivated, self sufficient, and organized. The position also requires the ability to research, implement, and improve current processes and designs.

Qualifications:

Needs to be self motivated and take initiative

Have great understanding of Microsoft Excel

Be able to lift 50 pounds or more

Great attention to detail

Understand automobile mechanic functions

Fleet DOT compliance

Work Schedule: This will be an 8:00 AM – 5:00 P.M, Monday-Friday position unless there is a company event that requires to be worked outside of regular business hours. Some travel may be required.

Wages: Based on experience, determined at job offer.
