Job Description

NVH/CAE ENGINEER

The position is for an experienced Powertrain Systems NVH CAE engineer. The engineer will lead /run Powertrain NVH analysis using multiple CAE tools to deliver the driveline NVH attribute for the program. They will leverage both analytical CAE and hands on hardware testing to complete program assessments and make recommendations to deliver best cost at Job#1 solutions.

Skills Required:

·         Deliver best cost at Job#1 solutions to the program while meeting attribute requirements Perform NVH assessments and trade-off studies using Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools

·         Provide find-and-fix support for issues

·         Provide design support for advanced concepts

Skills Preferred:

·         Knowledge of programming language such as VBA and PYTHON

Experience Required:

·         Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience with multi-domain CAE simulation to characterize NVH performance of Powertrain structures

·         Experience with commercial FEA pre-processors (Altair Hyperworks, Simcenter 3D ,Romax Designer) and solvers ( NASTRAN /OPTISTRUCT/ROMAX Spectrum)

Experience Preferred:

·         Ability to learn, grow and adapt to changing work requirements

·         Strong planning, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

·         Self-starter capable of establishing structure and delivering results.

Education Required:

·         Bachelor (required) or Master+ (preferred) Degree in ME or EE or related discipline is required.
