G.W. Peoples Contracting Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Safety Manager in the Atlanta, GA area.

The Safety Manager will manage and maintain the environmental safety and health programs on the project site.  This person will perform daily safety inspections to eliminate any unsafe acts and/or conditions to guarantee that all work is performed in accordance with approved policies and procedures.  The Safety Manager will provide training to all employees including accident prevention and health and safety.

The position requires work on nights and weekends. The work schedule can vary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5 heavy construction experience, 3 years of those as full-time safety professional.

NFPA 70E certification

Current OSHA 510 for Construction (within the past 3 years)

Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification.

First Aid/CPR/Blood Borne Pathogens training.
