WHO WE ARE G220 Ventures is the VC industry's brand new platform that provides students with a platform to gain hands-on experience and access to great mentors in the entrepreneurial world by connecting them to startup founders and venture capitalists. G220 Ventures helps first time entrepreneurs with their capital raise efforts and other advisory services including mentorship and training.

THE INTERNSHIP WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Semester Interns to work directly with our team to help source deals and evaluate potential investments. This is an unpaid internship with remote access only (so feel free to work anywhere!) is for both undergraduate and graduate students looking to learn about Venture Capital & Entrepreneurship.

• ARE YOU SERVICE ORIENTED AND WANT DIRECT ACCESS TO FOUNDERS AND INVESTORS? We are first and foremost a service-oriented team, and we are passionate about our clients. You, the intern, will work hand in hand with our CEOs and investors on projects of all types.
• ARE YOU ABLE AND HAPPY TO WEAR “MULTIPLE HATS?” We are a small team working on building an incredible platform to advise our members and add value to our networks. No day is the same, and no task is beneath us.
• YOU ARE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY: As we are a small team, there might be times where we cannot spend significant time answering general questions about the VC industry. Therefore, it is necessary for you to be proactive and work independently on variety of assigned or self-assigned tasks.

HERE IS A SAMPLE OF WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Build, develop, and manage relationships with new and existing angel investors, venture capital firms and corporate investors and partners
• Research and qualify potential investors and partners for our startups, and generate follow through on partnerships
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and investor relationships with our portfolio of startups
• Develop a deep analysis of existing and future portfolio companies and be able to present them to investors on the startup's behalf
• Maintain an organized internal CRM by tracking the progress of engagements and relationships between investors and sourced startups with status reports to report to partners
• Develop reports on industry trends, top VC portfolios, regularly summarizing insights, and compiling/distributing intelligence reports

INTERNSHIP COMPENSATION: This is unpaid but college credit / academic credits available through this Internship. Success fee in closed transactions will also be available for candidates who source the relevant deals.
