    G3 AEROSPACE is a mechanical engineering design services company providing our customer a broad spectrum of solutions from turnkey to staff augmentation.  Our primary expertise lies in aircraft cabins, composite structures and industrial tooling.  We are looking for a Project Management Engineer that will help us to improve our project management processes.  The right candidate will have a strong engineering background, preferably in aerospace, as well as experience leading project from start to completion using known project management processes, establishing visual management boards and utilizing KPIs to identify risks and problems before they occur.

    OVERVIEW:  The Project Management Engineer will be responsible for aspects of their assigned projects.  They plan, schedule, predict and manage all tasks in order for a project to be completed on time and within the budget allotted.  The Program Management Engineer will work with the Engineering Director to implement Project Management processes to ensure that all projects moving forward follow standardized processes that meet the quality expectations of the company and our customers; and shall provide visibility to the Partners predicting on time delivery, quality, budget and resource demands.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects task and actions
    • Coordinate with all stakeholder to set deadlines and solve issues to ensure a project meets it’s schedule and budget
    • Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
    • Providing financial reports and budget outlines to the Partners.
    • Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
    • Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
    • Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
    • Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
    • Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and/or 5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • PMP certification orother program management certifications preferred

     

    COMPUTER SKILLS:

    • Excellent skills in MS office, word, project and excel
    • Catia V5, Solidworks, CREO, AutoCAD Draftsite
    • Windchill, Smarteam or other PLM software
