    GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing is a company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions the aviation and aerospace industry.

    PREFERRED

     

    3+ years aircraft maintenance experience on current fleet types being maintained or modified by the Repair Station.

    5+ years' experience on VVIP aircraft interior installation.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

     

    Able to perform intermediate/ major/heavy aircraft maintenance tasks with no supervision.

    Understand specific design and operation of installed aircraft structures to enable effective troubleshooting, repair and modification of systems and components.

    Able to read, interpret and apply FAA approved or accepted data (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently.

    Proven ability to work alone and in a team environment.

    Effective decision-making skills.

    Dependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately.

    Motivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy.

    Organization: very detail oriented and always comes prepared

    Working Conditions

     

    The work is performed in an office environment, aircraft hangar, at the departure gate or on the aircraft parking ramp.

    This position is considered MEDIUM work.

     

    Requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.

    Are expected to work through specially designed airframe, engine and undercarriage openings while standing on ladders or scaffolds; to use hoists and lifts; required precision instruments and other necessary tools.

    Exposure to climate changes normally experienced in an aviation repair facility.

    OCCASIONAL

     

    Lift up to 50 pounds.

    Climbing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.

    FREQUENT

     

    Lift up to 10 pounds.

    Standing.

    CONSTANT

     

    Repetitive movements of arms and hands.

    Sit with back supported.

    Pay:

    40.00/hr. and 60.00/ot with $300.00 for lodging

    45.00/hr and 67.50/ot without the $300.00 for lodging

    Must have 4+ years of VIP or Corporate aircraft experience.
