Pro Game Guides **** is looking for experienced and enthusiastic freelance video game guides writers in key live-service areas. This is a fully remote position, and you can be located anywhere in the world.

The Pro Game Guides staff is a diverse international team, and we have a simple goal in mind: to help people play the games they love better with in-depth and succinct guides while fostering a kind and supportive gaming community.

We're looking for freelance beat writers to tackle game guides, with some news and reviews, for new and live-service games. Below are a list of the topics we're currently looking to add coverage for. In your cover letter, please mention one or more of the subjects below that you're most familiar with, enjoy, and can reliably cover as a dedicated beat.

**Games & topics PGG is expanding coverage on:
**

• Dead by Daylight (other live-service horror games, such as Phasmophobia, are great additions)
• Final Fantasy XIV (and other popular MMOs, if possible)
• Nintendo Switch games (with Pokémon and Fire Emblem games being top priority)
• Destiny 2 (this person must be dedicated and able to play each major update to produce high-quality guides on the day they're released)
• Call of Duty (and FPS titles generally: Valorant, Apex Legends, etc.)

What we're looking for in an ideal candidate:

• 1+ years of experience in editorial writing—specifically focused on video games and game guides
• Ability to try new games and game updates when they're released and write about them same-day
• Passion for video games
• Adaptability, flexibility, and a can-do attitude

Pay rate: tiers ranging from $11 to $60 per article, depending on length, article type, and scope.
