The VP - CASH MANAGEMENT SALES MANAGER will work closely with Retail Banking personnel, and the Lending team to assist in generating new business from prospective clients. The incumbent will be responsible for consulting with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering cash management and deposit product solutions to business clients. Excellent sales and product skills are required, as well as general business banking, treasury management, and deposit product solutions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Execute sales strategies to support the Bank’s growth IN Cash Management and Deposit.
Develop and implement customer transition plans to ensure holistic customer integration of products.
Coordinate cash management implementation and support
Partner with the Lending and Retail Branch departments to expand and support customer deposit growth
Partner with Product Management and Central Operations to maintain and develop strong competitive product offering to GBC’s clients.
Manage risk associated with products and services
Develops an effective marketing plan and manage and grow existing portfolios
Provides a superior level of customer relations and service, and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and procedures.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Execute cash management sales to drive deposit growth and fee revenue in partnership with various Business Units.
Prepare competitive proposals that illustrates comprehensive understanding of client’s environment, identifies complementary services and yields customer satisfaction.
Develop transition plan in coordination with client and various bank business units.
Coordinate client documentation across various bank business units.
Ownership and management of all Cash Management agreements.
Lead a team that consistently executes quality customer service.
Assist with audit responsibilities for Cash Management product line.
Maintain competitive landscape knowledge and provide management comprehensive solutions when necessary.
Optimize operational efficiencies of department processes to mitigate risk and reduce expenses.
Provide relationship management to existing customer base ensuring product awareness and overall customer satisfaction.
Actively support and promote a culture of change and ensure day-to-day service quality is maintained.
Build and develop strong, productive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, compliance and cost management.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL
Exceptional consulting and presentation skills; ability to probe and listen to help clarify inquiries, identify operational efficiency and/or risk mitigation solutions, gather and present data to advance sales opportunity.
BS or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years in Cash Management services.
Strong knowledge of Business/Commercial Banking

The major problem the incumbent must solve is to balance the conflicting responsibility of conducting error-free transactions while providing excellent customer service in a rapid and efficient manner. This requires a good level of concentration and an ability to be friendly with the customer while maintaining control over each transaction.
COMPLIANCE
The incumbent has the responsibility to acquire and maintain the required knowledge of State and Federal Banking regulations and policies, and regulations and policies inherent to position requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
5 + years in cash management services experience, banking and client interfacing.
Have knowledge of Treasury Management products.
Knowledge in Commercial Banking (preferable but not required)
Strong written, listening & verbal communication skills
Excellent consultative selling & negotiation ability
Attention to detail and consistent follow-up skills
Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications & pipeline reporting.
