  • Responsibilities

    This Position will be responsible for Transportation Management - Carrier Management, Carrier Bid, SPOT Order Processing, Freight Cost audit and Data analysis, Business performance review and other logistics tasks in Logistics team.

     

    Expected Accomplishments

    Bidding Management

    • Supporting carrier bid and warehouse 3PL bid
    • Inviting carriers, 3PLs and other service providers
    • Making a bid package and distribute it to the bid participants
    • Lead the bid participants and train them for the detail process
    • Analyze the bid data and making a report
    • Reflect the bid result on the system (GLBS, TMS, other systems)
    • Communication with carriers and 3PLs, customers

    Carrier Management

    • Carrier Score Card report monthly
    • Solve issue between Carrier regarding billing process
    • Training carrier and taking a meeting with carriers and customers
    • Checking the current delivery status
    • Communication with carriers/customers to share the load status

    Freight Cost Management

    • Freight cost audit and resolving the issue occurred.
    • Solve issue between Carrier regarding billing process
    • Perform day to day management of all payment cycle and provide efficient service to customers
    • Create weekly invoice status to all individual customers
    • Audit invoices and review discrepancy on billing
    • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
    • Supporting team’s clerical matters

    SPOT Order Management

    • Transportation order creation and load build, tendering
    • Spot order processing and reporting the status
    • Making pickup/drop-off appointment with carriers/customers if necessary

     

    Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree or above degree in business related, Logistics Management
    • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft EXCEL, MS-Word, and Power point etc
    • Experience with ERP related systems
    • Knowledge of and interest in logistics and transportation business
    • For 1-3 years, Logistics industry experience will be positively considered
    • Bilingual in Korean and English is required
