GENERAL PURPOSE
The Operations Manager is responsible for all operations, quality, and production control including management of supervisors, crews, scheduling, profitability, and budgets of projects. This position will be dynamic and its requirements may change as per the General Manager’s instructions.

Bachelor's Degree in Business and administration or Engineering and engineering trades
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Leadership skills: Ability to motivate employees to achieve common goals, including functional support within the district. Strong commitment to safety & environment, quality, customer service, and plant cleanliness.
Financial planning skills: Strong organizational and budgeting skills. The Operations Manager is responsible for looking at the future of the business and making key maintenance and investment recommendations.
Interpersonal skills: Ability to resolve employee performance issues and conflicts. Must be able to manage an empowered workforce, lead by example and be an effective coach.
Communication skills: Ability to communicate performance expectations and work assignments to employees and to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
