    PART-TIME - CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

    **UP TO 29 HOURS PER WEEK

     

    ABOUT THE COMPANY:

    GDC Technology is a digital cinema solutions provider. We develop, manufacture, and sell digital cinema servers, content storage systems, and theatre management systems for use in movie theatres. In addition, GDC Technology is the appointed worldwide certification services agent to certify DTS:X immersive sound auditoriums for DTS, Inc.

     

    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

    We are looking for an intelligent, computer savvy, people person to join our Burbank office. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, detail-oriented customer service specialist. The PT - Customer Service Representative will be responsible for daily customer service activities in North and South America.

     

    The ideal candidate will be pro-active, able to adapt quickly, and produce accurate results with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

     

    The following is a list of some of the PT - Customer Service Representative responsibilities:

    · Maintain positive relationships with customers/dealers

    · Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy in pricing

    · Coordinate equipment loans with customers/dealers

    · Manage and invoice unreturned RMAs

    · Quickly responds to customer inquiries via phone and email

    · Provide warranty quotes

    · Data entry and auditing

    · Resolve tier 1 customer issues while balancing business needs and customer expectations

    · Communicate with other departments within the organization to support a positive customer experience

    · Assists with trade show preparation

    · Other tasks as needed

    BASIC REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines with little supervision
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Experience with Epicor and CRM systems a plus
    • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus

     

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    · High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.

    · 2+ years’ experience in Customer Service preferred
