JOB TITLE:  Accounting Clerk

BACKGROUND:

Our parent company, GDC Technology, is currently the largest supplier of cinema servers throughout Asia and the second largest provider of cinema servers worldwide, serving its customers through offices in the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Europe, and Japan.

POSITION DUTIES:

Tasks may change from time to time at Management's discretion. As Accounting Clerk, duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Analyze and explain variances to A/R and A/P
• Record and classify transactions accurately using appropriate accounting segments
• Record and reconcile cash activity and bank statements

·         Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Collect and maintain appropriate documentation for all transactions
• Assist external auditors for annual audit filing

·         Responsible for annual 1099 reporting

·         Process purchase order transactions

• Make trips to the bank for deposits

·         Work on various projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year prior accounting related experience.
• Computer skills including Quickbooks, Excel, Word, & MS Outlook

COMMUNICATION

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely

ORGANIZING, PRIORITIZATION & DELIVERING

• Ability to multi task and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good follow through skills

LOCATION: Burbank, California. POSITION WILL TEMPORARILY WORK FROM HOME DURING COVID. TRAINING WILL BEGIN IN THE OFFICE FOR A FEW DAYS THEN WILL REMAIN WORK FROM HOME UNTIL REGULATIONS AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS ARE UPDATED. THE POSITION WILL RETURN TO FULL OFFICE WORK WHEN AVAILABLE.
