Job Description: We are currently seeking a GDOT Certified Stick Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural welding and a valid Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) welding certification. This role involves welding on bridges, highways, and other infrastructure projects throughout the state.

Responsibilities:

Perform stick welding in accordance with GDOT specifications and standards

Read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures

Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance

Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools

Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations

Work collaboratively with other team members and project supervisors

Requirements:

Valid Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Certification (Required)

Proven experience in structural welding, preferably on DOT projects

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed
