    PCI Health Training Center has an opening for a GED Tutor/ Student Services Coordinator. The GED Tutor/ Student Services Coordinator provides support to students enrolled and prospective students. Scheduled work hours are 9:00AM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday. The GED Tutor/ Student Services Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and demonstrating a commitment to student success on an individual level. The GED Tutor/ Student Services Coordinator is also expected to utilize motivating strategies to maximize student retention and program completion.

    The GED Tutor/ Student Services Coordinator is tasked with tutoring prospective students who are preparing to take entrance exams (ACCUPLACER). Must be proficient with Adult Education level English, Science, Social Studies, and Math.

    The GED Tutor/ Student Services Coordinator is tasked with monitoring student attendance and academic progress. The GED Tutor/ Student Services Coordinator must be able to identify at risk students and provide advising accordingly. Advising may include researching and accessing resources for students, such as childcare, housing, transportation, etc. Position Summary

    PCI Health Training Center is seeking a dedicated and motivated GED Tutor / Student Services Coordinator to support both enrolled and prospective students on their educational journey. This role focuses on creating a positive learning environment, fostering student success, and implementing strategies that promote retention and program completion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide individualized tutoring support for students preparing for entrance exams (ACCUPLACER), with proficiency in Adult Education-level English, Science, Social Studies, and Math.

    Monitor student attendance and academic progress, identifying at-risk students and providing guidance to support their success.

    Offer advising and connect students with essential resources, such as childcare, housing, transportation, and other support services.

    Maintain an encouraging and professional environment that inspires students to achieve their academic and career goals.

    Schedule & Work Environment: Full-time position: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Must be able to commute to Dallas and Richardson campuses

    Ability to commute/relocate: Dallas, TX 75247: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
