GEICO Local Office - Long Beach

Join a very select group of agents in Long Beach, CA that represent one of the best and fastest growing insurance companies in the country. GEICO Local offices are the only non-corporate locations that can sell GEICO insurance products as we never allow brokers to represent us.

GEICO Long Beach Local Office is looking for Insurance sales agents who are highly motivated, possess a strong work ethic, have excellent customer service and communication skills. As an inside sales representative, you will be challenged to quickly build rapport with customers in a fast paced working environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable making dozens of phone calls per day (inbound and outbound calls), be able to multi-task and be able to close the sale while maintaining a positive attitude. We offer a base salary with an opportunity to earn $35,000-$75,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

· Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients

· Service existing client inquiries and identify cross-selling opportunities

· Educate clients on auto, home, cycle and renter’s insurance

· Resolve customer inquiries and complaints

· Be able to attain sales goals by the deadline

· Comply with insurance standards and regulations

· Professional phone etiquette

· Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of any changes/developments

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in sales, customer service or other related fields

· Driven desire to work in sales, solve challenges while maintaining a positive attitude

· Ability to build rapport with clients

· Strong computer skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Detail oriented

· Ability to prioritize and multi-task

· Willingness to learn

· Punctual and dependable, demonstrate job stability

· Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume call center

· Pleasant telephone manner

· Bilingual in Spanish preferred

· California Property and Casualty License or Personal Lines License

Salary Information:

· Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

· Flexible hours

· $18.50-$20/hour (depends on experience), plus Commission
