Licensed Insurance Sales Agent GEICO INSURANCE OFFICE IN SAN MARCOS SALES AGENTS

Job openings for Sales Agents (bilingual English/Spanish preferred) are available now at the new GEICO Insurance local office in San Marcos, Texas. We need motivated applicants to match our valued Spanish-speaking clients with the insurance and service they've come to expect from an industry leader like GEICO. You must have a valid Texas Property & Casualty (Personal Lines) license to apply. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM 11:00AM TO 7:00PM.

As a GEICO Sales Agent, you'll prepare insurance quotes, advise customers on coverage, and convert quotes into new policies – all without making a single cold call. If you're fluent in Spanish, your starting base pay is at a higher level.

COMPENSATION

In addition to a strong base salary, our sales agents earn commissions on each transaction plus weekly and monthly bonuses. Our top-performers make more than $120,000 a year!

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance
• Willingness to work closely with each customer to offer insurance and financial products to meet their individual needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Punctual
• Ability to work a correct insurance quote to its completion
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume, competitive environment
• A well-connected member of your local community
• Previous insurance sales or service experience
• Social media savvy, with high visibility on multiple platforms, preferred but not required.

JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME

SCHEDULE:

• 8-hour shifts, 40-hour work week
• Regular working hours from 11:00am to 7:00pm
• Monday to Friday, with alternating 4-hour Saturday shifts
• Increased base pay for Bilingual ability
• Commission pay
• Bonus pay
