About the Job: We are looking for someone who can: • Manage and organize loan officer’s Outlook • Manage loan officer’s schedule • Take and schedule all incoming calls and appointments • Obtain required documents for a Credit Approval • Send out introduction letters to clients and prospects • Prepare spreadsheet reports to track leads and productivity • Update referral partners and clients • Manage database (Jungo) • Handle minimum 100 leads per month, growing over time Responsibilities: • Perform thorough analysis of applicant's income and expense data, self-employment documentation, credit reports, and property valuations in order to affirm borrower qualifies for loan • Verify and analyze all necessary financial information and documentation; ensure that loan files contain all necessary credit and legal documents to satisfy underwriting conditions • Calculate qualifying ratios, determine creditworthiness. • Proactively manage a pipeline in a timely, accurately, and efficiently manner • Request and manage organization of borrower loan documentation • Work effectively with cross-functional teams in Operations (title, valuations, underwriting, closing) to close loans • Point of contact for sales team and underwriters throughout the due diligence and closing process to coordinate documents and information and to answer any questions that may arise. Work independently through complex transactions and identify issues and concerns, coordinate the communication of requests with the appropriate loan officer and/or manager to expedite resolution • Effectively manage expectations of sales teams in terms of timelines and completion of loan documentation checklist throughout the due diligence process. Review borrower’s loan application package prepare additional information and convey any issues discovered to the underwriting team. Validate the borrowers/principal's/entity structures and financial liquidity • Develop and maintain knowledge of guidelines and comply with underwriting policies and requirements, industry standards, conveyance/settlement procedures, current real estate laws and appraisal requirements Qualifications: Previous Mortgage industry experience required Excellent written and oral skills Experience with mortgage software Excellent time management skills • 2-4+ years of experience within the mortgage or real estate industries • Bilingual – Spanish (required) • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment • Strong Partnership Skills/Team Player • Strong Interpersonal Skills • Ability to work under tight timeframes and balance multiple loans and assignments. • Ability to work and communicate within all levels of management Compensation: $15 per hour + commission
