    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician / CDL A Driver to join our team. This role is a jack of all trades and combines general maintenance responsibilities with the operation of commercial vehicles, ensuring the upkeep of facilities and safe transportation of materials and equipment. The ideal candidate is experienced in both maintenance tasks and truck driving, with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role will be on customer locations, at our shop, and at our lay down yard. We are looking for someone who can perform or be trained on general contractor duties; IE: painting, basic plumbing, drywall repairs, etc., as well perform or be trained on basic shop duties; IE: equipment cleaning, equipment oil changes, etc., and also be able to perform pick up and deliveries of equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep.

    Operate company vehicles, including those requiring a CDL A license, to transport materials and equipment as needed.

    Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on company property and vehicles.

    Assist with facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.

    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

    Keep accurate records of maintenance work and vehicle logs

    Support operational needs as required.

    Requirements:

    Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.

    Proven experience in general maintenance, facility repairs, or a related field.

    Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

    Strong understanding of safety procedures and best practices.

    Ability to operate hand and power tools.

    Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Additional certifications in maintenance-related trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).

    Previous experience in a similar role.

    Strong communication and organizational skills.
