We are looking for caring compassionate people - we can train you for the tasks of packing and unpacking. Part-time packing positions may lead to full time during our busy spring and summer months. $11.00 to start.
$15 per hour for Team Leaders - will train for leadership roll.
Position Name: PACKER
Position Description: Pack, unpack and prepare household goods for move for senior clients.
Uniform Requirements: Green logo shirt, Tennis shoes or closed toed shoes, Black walking shorts, capris or slacks

Pay Rate: $11.00 to start, $12.00 after completion of training
Job Duties: Packs clients belongings to prevent breakage according to training standards. Works in an organized and efficient manner. Maintains orderliness in the client's home. Maintains a safe work environment for client and team members.
Reports problems, breakage, and other issues to the Transition Coordinator.
Labels boxes according to standards.
Responds positively to client needs, issues or complaints. Defers to the Transition Coordinator for clarification of clients wishes regarding possessions. Takes before pictures to set up possessions in new home in identical or similar fashion. Ensures unpacking, placement and organization of all items is appropriate to client needs and abilities. Sets up electronics, TVs, computers, etc. Ensures client home is clean and orderly prior to departure each day of project. Reports box count to Transition Coordinator at the end of each work day
Assists in maintaining warehouse in clean and orderly condition
Follows rules and preferences of facility in which project may take place
Assists move team as needed to expedite loading and unloading
Tools Needed: Tape gun, box cutter, apron, black markers
Must have ability to install communication applications on cell phone or computer.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Represents company in professional manner including appearance, attire, enthusiasm, and demeanor. Models and demonstrates company values and mission. In-depth knowledge of and skill in packing techniques. Ability to effectively communicate constructively with team members, clients and families.
May be subject to drug screening pre-employment or post-accident. Maybe subject to motor vehicle record reviews. Seeks to improve skills through continuing education and study.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged and frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping. Moderate to heavy usage of hands in grasping and holding. May lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
Will not relocate.
