Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or five (5) years equivalent work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Adabas and Software AG products in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment.
• Experience supporting development, testing and troubleshooting activities of Natural / ADABAS developers.
• Experience managing and maintaining all production and non-production databases.
• Experience having the responsibility for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration.
• Experience performing backup and recovery on Database Management Systems, configuring database parameters, and prototyping designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements.
• Experience optimizing database access and allocating/re-allocating database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost.
