    Human Resources Coordinator Job Description

    GENESYS Consulting Services, Inc. provides Information Technology staffing and consulting services to large enterprises and technology partners in New York State and the greater Northeast. We anticipate considerable growth in 2022 and beyond. To support this growth, we are looking for a smart, motivated, and creative Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

    The Human Resources Coordinator facilitates the human resource processes for GENESYS Consulting Services and reports directly to the company Controller. This role administers employee health and dental plans, acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers, resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. As Human Resources Coordinator, you will actively participate in the recruiting process. This position assists in preparing and coordinating functions pertaining to employment, compensation and employee relations.

    Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    1. Schedule and perform new hire orientations and exit interviews for both W2 employees and subcontractors.
    2. Administer health, dental, and other benefit plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Process required documents through insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping.
    3. Order new hire background checks and process through completion
    4. Maintain records of personnel-related data while ensuring legal compliance and confidentiality.
    5. Assist with providing compliance and support in all areas of human resources including time-record processing.
    6. Provide written and verbal employment verifications.
    7. Assist with the development of training manuals, HR manual, and employee handbook.
    8. Coordinate and set-up training classes as needed.
    9. Support the recruitment/hiring process by identifying, screening, and sourcing candidates, performing reference checks, background checks and issuing company related contracts.
    10. Assist and facilitate the efficient operation of the office in general.

    The ideal Human Resources Coordinator should have:

    • 2-3 years of Human Resources experience
    • Computer skills, with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with an ATS is preferred.
    • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
    • Competency with multi-tasking and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Sense of humor and an enthusiastic positive attitude
    • Strong willingness to learn and become a valuable member of a growing and supportive team.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
