This is an immediate need for a 60 month contract position in Albany, NY. This position requires on site work, candidates must be local or willing to relocate.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead team of BAs in Client focused business and requirements analysis:

• Manage team of BAs and assignments
• Acting as liaison between internal teams (examples: PMO, Business, Technical and Operations teams) and external stakeholders (examples: NYS agencies and Social Service Districts)Schedule and facilitate meetings and working sessions
• Work directly with Subject Matter Experts to lead and conduct requirements gathering
• Analyze requirements gathered
• Identify, document, and validate system requirements for continuous integration and deployment, Prepare proposals for best fit technology based on requirements elicited
• The consultant is expected to travel during this engagement. Travel may range from 10-25% of the consultant's time depending on the consultant's work assignments. Travel will occur throughout New York State and may involve several overnight stays depending on the location and the work required; length and mode of travel will vary depending on the work assignment.

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Business Analyst
2. More than seven (7) years of client focused business and requirements analysis experience and documentation including: Managing a team of BAs and assignments, Conducting and leading requirements gathering sessions, Analyzing requirements gathered, Identifying, documenting, and validating system requirements for continuous integration and deployment, Preparing proposals for best fit technology based on requirements elicited
3. More than seven (7) years of experience working on enterprise level software development projects with an active role working with internal and external project stakeholders (SMEs, Users, PMs, Technicians, Quality Analysts etc.)
   
   

Desirable Qualifications:

1. More than seven (7) years of experience identifying, documenting and validating system requirements across multiple agencies, with a focus on the Human Service Child Support domain.
2. More than seven (7) years of experience identifying, documenting and validating system requirements on a modernization project covering multiple complex functional domains including analyzing, extracting, transforming, and documenting legacy systems' functionality, system logic, and business rules.
3. More than seven (7) years of experience conducting business process analysis and optimization in a technology environment, while documenting the As-Is and proposing To-Be web based, client facing applications.
4. More than seven (7) years of creating requirements documentation such as: As-Is and To-Be process flows, user stories, requirements, wireframes and specifications while adhering to pre-established templates within a requirements management tool similar to Blueprint.
5. More than seven (7) years of experience facilitating meetings, workgroups, etc.
