    Job Summary:

    The New Hire Coordinator will assist with all human resources matters, regarding the onboarding, offboarding process, sourcing talent for each opening to ensure long term success of each placement. Design and develop and execute recruitment strategies based on business and location needs. Source and qualify candidates through various platforms including job boards, social media, networking, and other recruitment tools to develop a strong pipeline of potential candidates. Sourcing activities such as finding the right talent as well as gathering, collecting, and maintaining documents records. The responsibilities would include to provide guidance to employees, former employees, managers and support all related HR transactional activities. Process and enter accurate confidential employee information and changes in HRIS systems. Including new hires, terminations, promotions, direct deposits, salary changes, general deductions. Support the integrity of all employees’ records and HR related activities in all geographical locations including but not limited to Indiana, Louisiana, and other assigned regions.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Interviewing applicants and manages the applicant/candidate process and hiring process from start to finish.

    Ability to cultivate relationships with candidates to grow and manage a high-quality pipeline.

    Set clear expectations with the hiring managers and candidates all while maintaining highest level of customer satisfaction.

    Ensure recruitment and hiring process and practices are in full compliance with federal, state, and/or local laws to include background checks and drug screening.

    Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

    Organize and facilitate onboarding for all new hires and returning employees.

    Responsible for training office managers at all locations regarding the onboarding process and documentation submission to Human Resources.

    Works collaboratively within the HR team to share ideas for driving improvements and consistency of execution for HR processes.

    Manage applicant google drive for all entities.

    Processing transfers and promotions.

    Handles routine human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, refers complex matters to Chief Human Resources Officer.

    Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.

    Informs Chief Human Resources Officer regarding matters surrounding, employee relations matters, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns.

    Assists with recordkeeping related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion particularly as related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, and diversity initiatives.

    Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, and human resources.

    Assists with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports including EEO-1, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, and employee handbooks.

    Conduct open enrollment meetings annually with all GEO locations.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    Previous experience in execute recruiting and/or staffing agency placing skilled candidate in an education hiring sector, is highly preferred

    Exceptional interviewing practices/techniques, active listening, and people skills.

    Solid verbal and written communication skills.

    Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

    Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

    Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to Human Resources.

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Accounting, or related field required.

    At least three years of professional human resource administration required with experience in staffing, recruitment, sourcing is highly preferred.

    SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
