    REPORTS TO/TERM:

    GEO Foundation – Chief Accounting Officer

    Location: Indianapolis, IN – Relocation package available to Indianapolis for highly qualified candidates

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    7 years or more of work experience in progressively responsible experience

    CPA Designation

    Non-profit experience, preferably in the education arena

    Experience with monthly close process, general ledger, and financial reporting functions for multiple schools

    NetSuite experience or other ERP system preferred.

    Maintain fiscal compliance over federal programs in accordance with federal circulars.

    Strong ethics and integrity

    Accounting Manager – Louisiana Schools

    The Accounting Manager – Louisiana is responsible for providing accounting and financial services to our network of Charter Schools located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This position will be physically located in Indianapolis, IN at GEO Foundation headquarters.

    Responsibilities include:

    Manage annual financial statement audits and required periodic reporting on behalf of the Louisiana schools.

    Manage the monthly closing process.

    Ability to handle complex financial transactions independently.

    Ability to handle multiple entities and a fast-paced environment.

    Manage team responsible for Louisiana schools’ accounting work.

    Positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.

    Ability to operate in a high growth atmosphere.
