REPORTS TO/TERM:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree or Higher school leadership and administration
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
Ability to travel
Recent recruiting and hiring experience
Expertise in school and/or organizational policy, procedures, and program development
Proven ability to motivate, inspire and manage a diverse staff
Ability to collaborate with others in an entrepreneurial spirit, focused on improving student achievement
Detailed oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
K-12 School Leadership experience
5 years Master Teacher experience
TAP Master Teacher Certification
Experience in professional development leadership
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
The Talent Recruitment/Development Specialist will be required to perform the following:
Able to build strong relationships with prospective teachers, school-based hiring teams and leadership
Expertise in designing and facilitating hiring-related trainings that lead to meaningful impact
Able to effectively coordinate, align, and coach hiring teams to best practices and goals
Collaborate with the organization’s communications office to build a stronger social media presence to publicly share the success of our scholars and grow broader support of the organization.
Collaborate with the leadership team to set a clear vision for the organization that; motivates employees, guides employees through the work process and builds morale
Provide strategic support to the leadership team by creating systems and materials to ensure the organization meets and exceeds the outlined goals.
Create partnerships with local communities and Universities
Attend recruiting events such as Job Fairs
Review resumes and call references provided
Perform initial phone/virtual interview to ensure the applicant is a good fit, provide CAO and Principals with detailed reports regarding the results of the initial interview
Work with CAO and Principals to create and maintain plans for Professional Development
Newly onboarded employees
Returning staff
Create and lead an Orientation for New Staff
Attend and participate in ongoing employer sponsored professional development and training
Monitor and assist academic staff enrolled in teacher licensure programs
Assist qualified staff to enroll in teacher licensure programs when needed
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
