    Job Description

    Accountable for the development, coordination and implementation of system and process training for the campus. Responsible for strategies, plans and processes to support organizational goals, and coordinates all training related to systems and operations training. This is a highly visible position requiring a high energy level and positive attitude.

    JOB DUTIES

    • Develops training plans and processes to be implemented by Training Coordinators
    • Monitors training activities to ensure all weekly scheduled training is conducted
    • Assesses instructional effectiveness impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
    • Develops metrics to evaluate training effectiveness; modifies training content or delivery method to meet training objectives
    • Develops material to support training programs and ensure material stays up to date
    • Compiles report to management of training statistics with recommendations for successful training activities
    • Manages and maintains in-house training facilities and equipment
    • Supervises employees including: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
    • Other duties as required and assigned

    REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant training experience in warehouse; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience conducting training on warehouse management systems and order processing
    • PC literate to include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOPs, work instructions, and reference guides
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Adequate knowledge of WMS and web delivery tools
    • Ability to conduct training classes for audiences at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to develop, write and proof training materials
    • Proven presentation and facilitation skills

    ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel.  The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.  The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
