    The Sr. Implementation Analyst- Manhattan is responsible for providing input to strategic decisions about the solution portfolio and for a prominent role in all aspects of business system solution implementations including process design, system set-up and configuration, user training, testing, go-live support, and continuous improvement. This is achieved through the delivery of a pre-defined IT solution that can be effectively used in a productive manner immediately upon delivery to support the business need. This role will mentor lower level Implementation Analysts to develop deeper technical knowledge and understanding of the Company’s IT solutions. This role may act as a project leader on internal team initiatives. Job Duties: [1] - [2] Primary Duties:Provides input to strategic decisions relative to the Company’s IT solution portfolioAnalyzes complex and at times ambiguous customer and business partner requirements in order to effectively implement and support business systems solutionsExecutes implementation processes for new customers and conversions by applying systems implementation concepts and principlesRecommends configuration strategies for a predefined IT solution(s) that meet or exceed the requirements of our customers and business partnersConfigures business systems solutions for new customers and conversion accountDevelops new processes to leverage functionality within the IT solutions to deliver enhanced logistics capabilities and services to our clientsMaintains and documents accurate project plan status in Quickbase & MS ProjectCollaborates with other departments on integrated start ups and conversionsEnsures that new implementations meet or exceed customer service goalsProvides scheduled updates to customers and other stake holdersEnsures stability of new accounts for proper hand off to operationsServes as project leader on internal team initiatives as assignedOther duties as required and assigned  Requirements: Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field from a 4 year college or universityMinimum of 5 years 3PL or MIS experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience including Manhattan WMSExperience with Supply Chain Execution applications (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, Order Management Systems, etc.), preferably those within the GEODIS portfolio Experience in Third Party Logistics or sophisticated supply chains of a manufacturer or retailerPC literate to include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint and OutlookEssential Skills:Ability and willingness to travel up to 35%Ability to learn and become proficient at an expert level with new software systems. Requires a complex level of knowledge of business applications and business processesAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to communicate with various levels of the organization as well as various levels of the customer’s organizationAbility to work within moderate to little supervision from a more senior leader or manager Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
