Job Description

Lead/assist a project team in development of the aesthetic and technical design and the preparation of architectural design and construction documents, including drawings and specifications. Develop, check, and coordinate technical aspects of projects’. Lead in organizing the drawing and BIM efforts. Produces contract documents conforming to building codes and zoning regulations, works with engineering consultants, checks shop drawings and may conduct site visits, and assists Project Architect as needed. Is able to work well with minimal direction and supervision. Reports to the Project Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture
• 4 years experience in commercial (retail/mixed-use) or multi-family housing projects
• License in Architecture preferred
• Good working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and approval process
• Good understanding and knowledge of building systems and site requirements (Structural, MEP, Civil and Geo-Tech)
• Highly organized, detail-driven and conscientious
• Proficient in current version of AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel
