Exciting opportunity to join our "new" Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Charlotte as the Hotel Controller. The hotel just completed a 12-million-dollar renovation. Responsibilities: • Will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, research, credit, and collection. • Ensure the effective management of Accounts Receivables to minimize the risk of extending credit and to generate and establish a sufficient cash flow base. • Prepare and mail monthly billing statements. • Ensure a smooth Accounts Payable process. • Oversee payroll data entry function and other Payroll functions as needed. • Responsible for the timely billing of all direct bill accounts with complete backup and accurate invoices. • Ensure all guest disputes and requests for clarification are resolved and/or responded to in a timely manner. Ensure an effective tracking system for all rebates/adjustments. • Work closely with all departments to come up with solutions to Systems and Control problems. Qualifications: • Hotel/Hospitality accounting experience is required. • Strong oral and written communication. • M3 experience is a plus. • Hilton experience is a plus.
