Since its founding in 1988, GF has operated over 700 properties in 46 states. We have an exciting opportunity to join our 1st class sales team as a Task Force Director of Sales & Marketing. In this role you will have a direct impact at the property level on a short term and long term basis. This position requires the ability to travel 100% of the time. Responsibilities: • The Task Force leader will lead and manage the sales teams on property. • As a sales leader you are expected to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and adapt to different projects in full service, select service, extended-stay, and boutique properties across a variety of hotel brands. • The Task Force Director of Sales & Marketing will oversee the hotel's sales efforts and the Sales Department staff, which is comprised of room sales managers, catering sales managers and administrative staff. • The TFDSM will utilize standard company processes and procedures to effectively lead the Sales team. • The TFDSM will work with the Sales team to nurture and develop client relationships and prospect for new business. Qualifications: • Four-year college degree preferred but not required. • Previous hotel sales experience required. • Previous hotel leadership experience required. • Experienced with full, select and limited service assets. • Experience with Marriott and Hilton is a plus. • Proficient in use of Excel, Word, Delphi and access database tools. • Ability to travel 100% of the time.
