Responsibilities: • Examine market trends to establish pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand • Consult with sales managers and stakeholders to evaluate the company's performance • Use marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other ways to actively pursue new business • Hire, train, and motivate your team to provide better customer service to your clients • Build customer loyalty while generating new revenue by developing long-term relationships Qualifications: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred • Marketing expertise and knowledge of sales department best practices are needed for this position • Prior sales and marketing experience of 5+ years, including some in a sales management role, is required • Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel • prior hotel sales experience • prior director-level experience
