Our goal at Abogada Giulia “Julia” Fantacci – GF Immigration Law, PA is to help our clients obtain their legal status in the United States without having to leave the country. We do this through family- based petitions (Such as the 1-130 and adjustment of status) as well through other types of immigration petitions (such as the I-360 VAWA for people who have had problems in their marriage and/or with their children who are 21 years old or older). We are one of the only firm in the Country dedicated to T-Visas.

We’re looking for an Immigration Attorney to join our team. This position will handle legal matters that pertain to immigration.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• High level reviews of T-Visa and VAWA cases.
• Maintain and update cases per Principal Attorneys’ direction.
• Prepare and revise documents as needed.
• Respond accurately and timely.
• Maintain highly organized files and record.
• Provide flexibility and adaptability to each case and legal matter.
• Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect immigration.
• Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
• Other Job duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• JD OR LLM degree.
• Active Bar license (in good standing) in the USA.
• Active in bar association(s).
• 2- 5 years' experience with Immigration.
• Humanitarian Immigration, specifically VAWA and T-Visas, is a plus.
• Excellent communication; READING AND WRITING SKILLS IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH REQUIRED.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
• Must be able to come into the office.

*INITIAL 10 DAYS IN-OFFICE TRAINING REQUIRED.

*TEMPORARY REMOTE WORK MAY BE AN OPTION FOR OUT-OF-STATE JOB INCUMBENTS AFTER TRAINING IS COMPLETED.

*RELOCATION IS REQUIRED AFTER 30 - 60 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT, WITH UP TO $5,000 IN RELOCATION ASSISTANCE.

*UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF INITIAL PERIOD, POTENTIAL PAY INCREASE UP TO $100,000/YEAR WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF HIRE
