  • Responsibilities

    KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Professionally represents GH Phipps and effectively supports Company strategic initiatives

    Fosters positive long-term relationships with subcontractors and business partners

    Provide professional construction services to clients resulting in on time delivery within budget and with the highest quality project to the client's satisfaction

    Cultivate new and existing business relationships by actively engaging in client pursuits, RFP's and interviews

    Assist Project Manager, Superintendent, Estimators and project team with preconstruction efforts

    Coordinate pre-planning efforts with project manager and superintendent

    Work with the Project Manager and Superintendent with review and monitoring of project budget, costs and financials

    Partner with superintendent to develop and update schedule and manage project milestones

    Partner with superintendent to ensure compliance with company environmental, storm water and safety programs

    Oversee quality control efforts in support of Quality Assurance program

    Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in implementing required risk management policies and procedures

    Support closeout efforts in timely manner; Archive project information per company policy/procedure

    Conduct all work duties in safe manner

    Perform miscellaneous department duties and initiatives as needed

    SKILLS:

    Knowledge of concrete material, reinforcing, placing and forming systems

    Knowledge of and ability to utilize construction software

    Ability to work with and read construction plans

    Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

    OSHA regulations for construction

    Strong organizational, multi-tasking and planning skills;

    Strong customer service orientation;

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor Degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent field experience

    EXPERIENCE:

    At least two (2) years construction, engineering or equivalent work experience

    History of delivering on key projects and commitments
