    Position Summary:

    This position consists of developing, managing, and maintaining the critical information necessary for corporate needs. The Marketing Research Manager interfaces with all departments in all offices and divisions and selective project teams.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Professionally represents GH Phipps to internal and external clients at all levels while always maintaining a positive attitude and a professional work ethic.

    Effectively supports Company strategic initiatives.

    Fosters positive long-term relationships with subcontractors and business partners.

    Manages factual data base information in old and new formats; ties new and historical information together for pursuit of projects.

    Manages archiving of electronic proposal files and project historical information.

    Manages the development and maintenance of an easily accessible database for storage and retrieval of current and historical project information

    Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to support strategic priorities; researches and compiles project specific intelligence, maintains Company historical information, and client relationship management systems.

    Supports related training and coaching we well as proposal and presentation development.

    Communicates clearly with customers, business partners, department members, and Operations team.

    Reviews and comments on the internal marketing information generated.

    Able to perform duties of Senior Proposal Writer/Proposal Manager on qualifications/proposals/interviews as needed. Proficiency in same software, etc.

    Assists business development and marketing in screening and presenting project opportunities, capture plans, project pursuits, and supports proper execution.

    Collaborates with internal teams in identifying, developing, tracking and managing project pursuits.

    Uses experience and ability to read and analyze request for proposals (RFPs) and requests for qualifications (RFQs) to propose content, strategic approaches(s) and creative /innovative enhancements.

    Reviews lead sites, researches leads and presents leads to Operations team.

    Develops and distributes data for talking points for Company communications.

    Keeps current with what competitors are producing and positioning around through thorough research.

    Accumulates information on potential clients and projects every week for long term pursuits.

    Manages and modifies processes and systems required to support business development company wide.

    Accumulates and performs market sector research including volume, clients, consultants, competition and current events to support known strategic initiatives (procurement teams) or potential initiatives.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelors in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering or other related fields.

    Experience Requirements:

    Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction or related A/E industry marketing including experience in researching and compiling industry/market sector/project specific data/intelligence/information.

    Verifiable work references demonstrating exceptional accomplishments, leadership and communication skills.

    Data management and use of CRM systems at highest level and at full detailed level.

    Multiple marketing process and product development applications to support any needs related to marketing and business development.

    Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screens.
