    The Endoscopy Center, located in Hilo, is looking for a full-time GI Technician / Medical Assistant to join our amazing and growing team.


    The Endoscopy Center, located in Hilo, HI, is a leading outpatient facility specializing in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures.     What You Will Do (Job Summary)

    As a GI Technician / Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

    • Monday-Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needs
    • NO call required, NO Nights
    • Ability to float to other centers with added compensation

    Required Skills

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Prior experience in any patient care role needed.
    • Experience or knowledge of GI/Endoscopy procedures or sterile processing techniques is a plus
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain)

    If you don't have experience as a GI Tech, Endoscopy Tech, or Sterile Processing Tech, we are willing to train you and help you develop your skills as a GI Technician.

    Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or GED
